Ralph Raskas was a remarkable young man who left us too soon, passing away in 2016 at the age of twenty. When Ralph was in high school, he went on a medical mission to Nepal. Ralph was dismayed to learn how little children knew about dental hygiene. He was generally concerned about their health and well-being. Out of wisdom came understanding as Ralph found himself fulfilled teaching Nepalese children how to brush and care for their teeth.
Ralph was deeply touched by the hardships experienced by children in need whether abroad, or here in his hometown of St. Louis. His father created the Ralphcares program to remember Ralph and to continue where Ralph left off by providing dental care products to children. I assume Ralph is smiling knowing that his legacy and purpose continues through the Ralphcares Program.
